Natasha Mylius is a painter currently living in Austin, Texas. Originally from Russia, Natasha moved to America in 2000. Her journey took her first to Dallas / Fort Worth area in Texas, then to New Orleans, Louisiana, and finally back to Texas where she settled in Austin. She received a very traditional art education and originally mastered a realistic style of painting. Yet, as an independent artist, Natasha began to explore different styles and techniques. Now she finds that impressionism is the style closest to her heart. Natasha works in oil on canvas by using a palette knife, building up color in multiple layers.
