The Denton Arts and Jazz Festival has earned a solid reputation for providing the finest in entertainment and art in the North Texas Metroplex area. Founded on the belief that all forms of art should be made available to the general public FREE OF CHARGE, the event has grown into one of the largest tourist attractions in North Texas and remains Denton’s signature event.

A tradition for hundreds of thousands of visitors each year, the event continues to grow and attract local, regional, statewide and national attention made possible by the generous support of Festival Sponsors and Members!

Facing rising costs and funding challenges, the Denton Arts & Jazz Festival is downsizing its footprint for 2025 while launching a $75,000 fundraising campaign to keep the music alive and free for the community.

A Celebration of the Arts

The Denton Arts and Jazz Festival is a celebration of the arts in a community known for embracing and nurturing music, dance, choral, drama and the visual arts. The free event is produced by the Denton Festival Foundation, Inc. with the generous support of sponsors such as the Dallas/Fort Worth American Federation of Musicians Local 72-147 and the city of Denton. Held at Denton’s Quakertown Park, the event features seven stages of continuous music, fine art, crafts, and food, games and information booths in a beautiful, outdoor setting.

The Festival Foundation uses proceeds from booth rentals and concession sales to support the arts throughout the city of Denton. Arts facilities, service organizations, and preservation projects have all been the recipients of the proceeds from past events, in addition to public art for the enjoyment of all.
